This tour is ideal for those who wish to go through the most significant artistic currents that gave birth to the rich and eclectic city of Palermo. We’ll explore relevant landmarks and discover the richness of their different architectural and stylistic trends. The tour will depart from Bellini Square, beating heart of Palermo, where we’ll have the chance to admire the breathtaking Norman golden mosaics of the Martorana Church. We’ll then head to Pretoria Square and its renaissance Shame Fountain, which takes its name from the “scandalous” statues that decorate it. We’ll go ahead with the visit of St. Domenico Church with its baroque style and we’ll follow with the astonishing explosion of Serpotta’s plasters in St. Cita Oratory. Our walking tour will end up in front of the monumental Massimo Theater, the biggest Opera House in Italy.

* This tour is available all days on demand and it could be changed depending on the availability of the sites. Reservation is recommended.

** The tour will be just on foot, therefore is not recommended for people with mobility difficulties.
