Abbiamo soggiornato, la mia famiglia ed io, a Casa Amaltea il terzo fine settimana di Marzo e non ho parole per descrivere l'accoglienza riservataci dalla padrona di casa. L'appartamento Arancio di Casa Amaltea, sotto ogni punto di vista, era perfetto: dalla pulizia alla centralità, dal silenzio assoluto all'ampiezza delle camere. Una nota di menzione per la cura messa nei particolari!!! Abbiamo accresciuto anche la nostra conoscenza di Palermo attraverso del libri rari e preziosi che erano a disposizione dell'appartamento. Torneremo spesso in questa città e alloggeremo sicuramente a Casa Amaltea.

Stefania è stata puntuale, precisa, dalla casa eccellente e dall' accoglienza perfetta. In quanto guida turistica ha descritto e suggerito le varie località da visitare in modo preciso, mirato, coinvolgendo gli ospiti in forma trasparente senza dimostrare interessi personali, cosa che ho personalmente molto apprezzato. Appartamento moderno, finemente arredato, perfettamente pulito, in zona tranquilla e silenziosa, dove non manca assolutamente nulla. Ingresso esterno + androne interno sorvegliato da più telecamere al fine di garantire ulteriore sicurezza. Qualità, pulizia e la cordialità di Stefania rendono questo appartamento una garanzia per gli ospiti di una scelta sicura. Suggerisco questo appartamento per la vostra permanenza.

L'appartamento offre tutte le comodità necessarie per un soggiorno! La posizione poi é perfetta per spostarsi a piedi e visitare il centro storico oppure muoversi in autobus...le fermate bus per la famosa Mondello sono dietro l'angolo! Il cortile della casa offre un'oasi di privacy e relax non da poco! Sicuramente sceglierò di nuovo questa struttura per il mio prossimo soggiorno a Palermo! Infine un grazie speciale alla padrona di casa Stefania per la gentilezza e la cura di ogni particolare!

Appartamento molto carino, ben arredato, funzionale e molto pulito. A nostra disposizione biancheria sia per il bagno che per la camera morbida e profumata. Lettino e seggiolone forniti gentilmente. Situato in un palazzo signorile, in una via tranquilla e con la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto in un quartiere abbastanza vivace con locali e ristoranti. check-in e check out molto flessibili senza costi aggiuntivi. Stefania è una persona veramente squisita, di estrema gentilezza e cordialità, disponibile a dare indicazioni di qualunque tipo. Se tornassimo in futuro a Palermo, non esiteremmo certamente a tornare nel suo appartamento. Esperienza positiva in tutto e per tutto!

Lovely apartment on a quiet central street Casa Amaltea is a beautiful apartment in a quiet area with a private garden, wifi and a video intercom system for visitors. A short walk down a couple of rough streets leads to the Piazza Sturzo and across it is lies the Via Roma (the main route through the centre of town. Down the next parallel road to the left is a supermarket. Stefania met us when we arrived to give us the keys and show us around. She gave us a map with our accommodation marked on it as well as the major sights. She lives close by and was happy to help us with any issues as they arose. She is also a licenced tour guide and I would recommend this option rather than the organised tours available of Palermo and district as they are not properly geared for English speakers.

Appartamento moderno e perfettamente arredato ubicato in pieno centro. Non ho avuto bisogno di mezzi per vedere le attrazioni più belle della città, tutto accessibilissimo a piedi. Materasso e asciugamani di ottima qualità. Check-in e check-out flessibili. Stefania è un' accompagnatrice turistica, consiglio di prenotarla per un giro guidato in città, è competente, sintetica e impeccabile. Consigliatissima lei e la sua bella casa. Di sicuro ritornerò, intanto la consiglio a tutti!

What more would you want than to sit in the dappled shade of an orange tree sipping an evening gin & tonic! An oasis of calm in the chaos that is Palermo. Spotlessly clean, fresh and modern. Excellent AC. A 5 star stay.

Our flight was delayed for more than four hours. As a result Stefania has to wait for us to come in at about 11.30pm to brief us. She is a wonderful host. Communication with her was no problem as she speak English. Stefania's apartment has been renovated recently. You can walk to many places of interest from her apartment. The stop for the airport shuttle is nearby. Also nearby is a supermarket. Highly recommended.

Appartement bien situé, calme, lumineux, moderne et fonctionnel. La petite terrasse sans vis à vis permet de manger à deux (à l'ombre ) matin et soir. Stefania est une hôte très agréable, qui répond toujours très vite à toutes les interrogations que l'on peut avoir au cours de son séjour et qui est toujours prête à aider. je recommande fortement cette hôte et ses appartements qui sont gages de qualité.

Lovely apartment with great bathroom, well equipped kitchen and spacious bedroom. Beautiful patio which takes you away from the business of the city. Excellent gelato place across the street - also good for cappuccino and pastries in the morning. Around the corner from Politeama Theatre and walking distance to so much more. Take Stefania's walking tour - excellent Intro to city. Lovely host! Stefania we thoroughly enjoyed your hospitality- your place was perfect for us. We loved the patio which we used a lot. Loved the high ceilings which gave such a nice feel of spaciousness. Beautiful bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Also your tour was a real highlight for us as we saw so much that we would not have on our own. We actually returned to a few places because of our walk with you. Thank you so much for sharing your great city! "

The flat is wonderful, situated in a very nice area of Palermo, it's very well kept and impeccably clean. The outside area is just great for a morning coffee or some outdoor reading. Stefania was super nice, we arrived later than expected (after midnight!) and she welcomed us and took time to suggest places to eat so late close to the house. The day after we went on a tour with her around Palermo, highly recommended! The rest of our stay was great, and Stefania let us stay longer on the last day as the house wasn't booked. It was a fantastic stay!

Wonderful centrally located apartment - be sure to book Stefania's tour of Palermo. We loved the apartment, which was beautifully clean and comfortable - the air conditioning and patio were especially welcome. The location was great, and was within walking distance of everything. Stefania couldn't have been a more helpful host. She is also a tour guide, and we opted for her half day tour which took in lots of the sights as well as giving us an introduction to Palermo's wonderful street food - she is very knowledgeable and passionate about her home city. All in all, a great stay.

Lovely apartment in a very convenient location for exploring Palermo. Stefania was a most welcoming and helpful host and Casa Amaltea was a very comfortable apartment, conveniently located in a side street , close to bus stops, shops and cafes/restaurants. Our tour of Palermo, with Stefania as our guide, was so interesting and included tasting of some delicious local foods. Thank you Stefania for making us feel so welcome in Palermo. We would highly recommend Casa Amaltea to anyone looking for a self catering apartment in central Palermo.

Our stay at Stefania'a flat in Palermo was excellent in all ways. Stefania is extremely organized, very communicative and was generous in offering to help us in any way. Her flat was clean and very well supplied. The shady patio is very pleasant. The location was excellent. Close to shops and restaurants and not too far from the sites of old Palermo. We never required our car or other transport, but it seems a bus station is close by as well. If we visit Palermo again we will certainly stay with Stefania again. She is a 5* host in every way.

Stefania was a great host! She gave us some great tips about the city: sights and restaurants and has left us some snacks and coffee! The place is very good for the price, if you'd like to use it as a base and explore the busy city. Thanks, Stefania!

All perfect : the flat is well located near restaurants and bus station to Mondello and many places in Palermo Well decorated nice terrace kitchen and bathroom. Stephania is very friendly gives lots of useful advices and always answer quickly to any message. Warmly recommended.

Stefania was the best hostess ever, picking me up at the bus stop, as well as making sure I got on the bus ok to leave. Her place was impeccably clean, close to public transportation, with a lovely garden to relax in after a long day's sightseeing. I would definitely come back to her place.

Lindo apartamento, muy bien equipado. Baño grande. Ubicación ideal para ver los monumentos, el puerto, las tiendas de Palermo a pie. Patio adornado con plantas y flores. Perfecto lugar para terminar el día con un vaso de vino. Hicimos una interesante visita guiada con Stefania. Nos quedamos 4 noches en Palermo. Disfrutamos mucho. Quando llegamos al apartamento, Stefania explicó todo cuidadoso y dió consejos para restaurantes y la ciudad.

Very well appointed and comfortable apartment. Nice decor and modern facilities. Lovely terrasse. Very clean. The owner is very friendly and pointed us to all the best sites to see. Dangerously close to excellent ice-cream parlours and fabulous "pasticceria" 😊. The location is perfect to explore the city on foot. The bus from the airport stops 5 min walk away and there are also buses departing for the beautiful Mondello Beach and the open top sightseeing tours. Two of the main arteries of the city also start 5 min walk away and the neighbourhood is full of restaurants and bars as well as small shops to find bread, fruits and vegetables, wine and fresh fish.

Stefania est une superbe hôte! L’appartement correspond parfaitement aux photos. Très propre, tres bien situé en plein centre, nous avons pu tout faire à pied! Stefania nous a gentiment offert tout ce qu il fallait pour le petit déjeuner! Super séjour!

Solo tre giorni a Palermo e siamo stati ospiti di questa splendida struttura: uno spicchio di vera Sicilia (bellissimo e ben tenuto il giardinetto privato) in mezzo ai condomini metropolitani. Pulito e curatissimo l'interno, davvero ospitale. Appartamento molto comodo per visitare a piedi il centro storico e comodo ai bus sia per Mondello che per l'aeroporto. L'aiuto della gentilissima proprietaria che ci ha consigliato nella nostra ricerca del "cannolo perfetto" è stato davvero gradito. Se tornassimo a Palermo questa struttura sarebbe la nostra scelta! Grazie!

The apartment is in a quite neighborhood and within walking distance to all the attractions, beautiful and comfortable apartment and Stefania was very helpful with everything and also very sweet. There are good restaurants and shopping close by.

Casa Amaltea è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la città di Palermo e anche per raggiungere la spiaggia di Mondello. Stefania non ci ha fatto mancare nulla ed è stata più che disponibile. La descrizione dell'appartamento rispecchia l'alloggio di cui abbiamo apprezzato la comodità, la pulizia e la praticità. La cucina ben attrezzata è sicuramente un punto a favore per chi volesse prepararsi qualche ricetta sfiziosa con prodotti locali dei mercati della città. Nelle vicinanze si trovano senza problemi ristoranti, locali, caffè, panifici e altri piccoli commerci. Il centro e comodamente raggiungibile a piedi, ma se le fatiche della giornata dovessero avere la meglio, i bus si trovano in prossimità. Lo consiglio vivamente!

It was really nice staying at this apartment! Stefania was very nice and welcoming and we could ask her anything when needed. The apartment was in our opinion even larger than we expected, especially given such a central location. We went everywhere by foot and the beach by bus, all very doable 🙂

L'appartement de Stefania est idéal pour un séjour prolongé à Palerme. Il est proche des arrêts de bus pour Mondello et ceux pour rejoindre la gare centrale. C'est un appartement spacieux, au calme, avec une cours privée très agréable en fin de journée. Stefania est une hôte au top! Elle est toujours disponible pour répondre à vos interrogations pour vos déplacements à travers la Sicile et pour vous indiquer les meilleurs restaurants. C'est aussi une guide parfaite pour découvrir la richesse de la ville si vous le souhaitez. Bref, si nous décidons de retourner à Palerme nous la recontacterons sans hésiter. Merci pour tout!

Stefania is a very positive person. She explained everything what you need to see in Palermo. We love this apartment. Is big and cool and clean. 4-5 min walk to bus which is going to Mondello beach. Store with food Carrefour is close also.(10 min walk) We are highly recommend to rent this apartment if you want to have a great time in Palermo.

Très bon accueil, l'appartement correspond aux photos, climatisation tres agréable dans le logement. Appartement bien situé dans Palerme, à proximité des commerces, restaurants, centre ville, transport en commun... Stefania s'est rendu très disponible nous a indiqué des très bonnes adresses (restauration, visite de la ville à faire, excursions réalisables, lieux pour faire les courses...) Un très bon séjour! Nous recommandons Stefania sans hésitation!! A bientôt 🙂

Stefania est une hôte géniale. Sympathique, souriante, arrangeante et jamais à court de bonnes adresses. Elle a su nous indiquer les lieux de visites, les coins moins touristiques et de quoi se régaler (spinnato était grandiose !). Son appartement est tout simplement un petit havre de paix dans Palerme. Air conditionné dans la chambre, très propre et du mobilier neuf (elle a même mis à notre disposition un lit bébé). La cuisine et la salle de bain sont très bien équipées. Et que dire de cet extérieur, petite cour végétalisée idéale pour un apéro au clair de lune. L'emplacement n'est pas central par rapport aux sites touristiques mais facile d'accès, et il est très simple de venir ou d'aller à l'aéroport ou la gare centrale, les bus et taxis étant à proximité. Merci pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Nous la recommandons chaleureusement et n'hésiterons pas revenir et séjourner à nouveau chez elle lors d'un prochain séjour à Palerme.

Stefania is a really great host. The apartment is very modern and is even more beautiful then on the pictures and has everything that you need for your stay in Palermo. Stefania was at the day I've arrived in Palermo there and welcomed me lovely, although Italy was playing at the Uefa European championship. She told me the key things about Palermo (Which bus I have to take to Mondello beach or nice places to drink or eat something). She also organized that I could train in a gym, called a taxi at the day i left and did many more things for me. I recommend this apartment everybody who's looking for a nice apartment which is central located. Thank you Stefania for being a great host!

We really enjoyed our stay in Stefania's flat. It was a good surprise to realize that the apartment is very well located, close to everything (good restaurants, gelateria, bars, shops, a 24/24 supermarket and so on...) we visited the entire city by foot, and the bus stop to go the beach is only 1 minute walk. It was really perfect, the flat was very clean as in the pictures, and the sofa is really comfortable as bed. Stefania is very friendly, always available and punctual. I recommend!

Stefania is a wonderful host. We arrived in Palermo on a difficult day of hot winds and fire in the vicinity. Her apartment was an oasis of serenity. She greeted us with a lovely selection of Sicilian desserts. The location is near high end shops and lots of restaurants. We also took a walking tour of Palermo with Stefania. She showed us many points of interest and we sampled Sicilian street food. I highly recommend staying in this lovely apartment.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Stefania. L'appartement est très cosy et fonctionnel. Les photos sont tout à fait conformes à ce que nous avons trouvé sur place. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse ainsi que les petites attentions de Stefania (petit-déjeuner, mise à disposition de serviettes, conseils sur les visites à effectuer, flexibilité sur l'heure de départ...). La localisation de l'appartement est parfaite pour effectuer les visites des différents sites touristiques de la ville à pied. L'appartement se trouve également dans un secteur bien desservi par les transports en commun. Pour résumé, ce séjour était parfait. Merci encore à Stefania de nous avoir si gentiment accueillis dans son bel appartement. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Stefania est super! Elle nous a accueillit avec un grand sourire et sa bonne humeur. L'appartement est conforme à la description et aux photos sur le site. On a aimé pouvoir prendre l'apéro sur la terrasse très bien aménagée. Elle avait également préparée des petites choses pour notre petit déjeuner durant ces 4 jours de séjours (gentille attention 🙂 ). L'appartement se situe vraiment dans le centre de Palerme ce qui nous convenait parfaitement, tout est accessible et pour les fêtards, comme nous, il y a un grand choix de bars et pubs tout à proximité. Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Stefania et recommandons fortement ce logement.

Stefania is a great host ! Warm welcome, we appreciate the coffee, bread,jam...on our arrival. The apartment is well decorated, confortable, corresponds totally to the description and pictures. The terrasse was a real plus for our 2 years old boy. We have booked a turistic tour with Stefania, which was a fantastic way to discover Palermo (history, legends, way of life...) !!

Stefania was so helpful from the booking right the way through to our arrival (a day later than planned). Very helpful information on places to visit, and the appartment itself was exactly as described. Perfect location, easy access to buses and the main shopping district, and being able to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine in the private courtyard was wonderful. Highly recommended. I come to Palermo every year for work and until now have used hotels but will book with Stefania in future.

We had a lovely stay at Stefania's flat after a long flight and late arrival. It did feel like a welcoming home to stay at. The place is lovely and very well located. Stefania's advice was fantastic and it really made our stay in Palermo very enjoyable!

Logement conforme à la description, belle décoration, bien équipé, très bonne literie, bref on s'y sent bien. L'appartement est très bien situé, bus à moins de 2 min. Très bon accueil de Stéfania, qui nous a donné beaucoup de conseils pour la visite de Palerme et les alentours ... Ainsi que les bonnes tables pour l' apéro ou le diner. Nous avons beaucoup aimé les 5 jours que nous y avons passé.

Stefania nous a accueillie de manière chaleureuse et bienveillante. Elle est également une très bonne guide, nous avons pu visiter Monreale en sa compagnie. L'appartement est fort agréable et spacieux, d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous avons bien profité de la terrasse même en ce mois de novembre. Nous avons pu visiter le centre de Palerme a pied étant donné l'emplacement central de l'appartement. Nous conseillons fortement cet appartement autant pour son hôte Stefania que pour ses commodités.

A notre arrivée dans la rue, Stefania était déjà à la Casa comme elle nous l'avait promis lors d'un échange téléphonique. Son accueil fut très chaleureux. Après une visite de la Casa, Stefania nous a donné des points de repères dans Palerme, nous a apporté de précieux conseils sur les lieux de visite, les marchés, les bus vers le centre ville, et a répondu à toutes nos questions d'ordre pratique. Dès ce moment nous nous sommes sentis « comme chez nous ». Quel plaisir d'être accueillis avec autant de générosité et de professionnalisme !!! Le descriptif de la Casa est fidèle à la réalité : logement fonctionnel, spacieux, propre et coquet, calme, à 10 mn de marche tranquille de Politeama. Le quartier est proche du centre que l'on peut rejoindre à pieds ou en bus à partir de Politeama , des petits restaurants accueillants et du marché de Capo . Une très bonne situation pour découvrir Palerme dans toutes ses composantes (architecture, gastronomie, shopping, vie animée sur les marchés, …). Un séjour formidable à Palerme grâce à Stefania et cette Casa que nous avons adorée. Nous y reviendrons, c'est certain !!!
